My students truly amaze me each day. They soak up every bit of learning they can access, and enthusiastically come back for more.
Teaching children to read is incredibly rewarding, and in kindergarten I get to be at the beginning of it all.
The more hands on I can make their learning, the more they absorb. They get to take ownership of their learning and because of that they learn way more than if I was controlling all of it. The hands on material also allows integration of more senses, and research has proven that this is the best way for children to learn.
