Hands On Literacy and Math based Art Is The Way To Learn!
My students need large crayons, construction paper and craft trays to use for literacy and math based art activities that will enhance learning in a fun way.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We will be using the dot markers as well as the macaroni to help the students with their number recognition and Counting. The foam shapes will help the students who are tactile learners to manipulate as they learn. The crayons and paint will help students create and learn.
My students come from low income families who really want their children to receive the best education, but because they are low income it is hard to provide all the necessary materials they need.
We need more funding to afford us the ability to provide all the materials needed to succeed.
My Project
We will use the materials to enhance our literacy and math lessons we learn in the classroom. When students have hands on experiences they learn so much better and can retain what they learn. Crayons, art painters and paint trays will help to enhance math and literacy and give my children a chance to prove how well they understand concepts through culminating art activities.
Receiving these materials will make such a difference to the classroom and for the students.
They will be able to practice and create projects that show how much they have learned and what they understand. Using these materials will aid the students who may be more visual, or tactile learners who need to see and feel what they are learning to fully understand it and internalize it.
