My Students
How can you be expected to understand life science by just reading a text book?
My students are so excited to learn about and DO science. They are fascinated by life science concepts and excited to learn more. They are so disappointed though! We were able to order new workbooks, but not new live materials to study and the equipment to do it safely. They want and deserve to have hands-on experiences with living organisms in order to fully understand life science concepts.
My Project
We are in need of a variety of living materials to study and new safety equipment for lab investigations. From bacteria, to snails, to Venus fly traps, my students should have samples of living organisms from all kingdoms of life to study. With these organisms and lab supplies, including safety goggles and a first aid kit, we will be able to observe and study not only the structure & function of living organisms, but also how they are important to the Earth.
My students deserve to have the kind of science education they were expecting. Please help them acquire an educational experience full of hands-on inquiry and observation that will allow them to be scientists!
