it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have been hatching chicks for years. My students have found this activity amazing. We hatch the eggs in an incubator, we candle them and once they are born we observe and take care of them in the classroom for three weeks. I would like to keep the chicks permanently so I can bring the adult chickens back to class so students can continue to learn about their life cycle. This coop would also allow me to hatch more chicks the following year without having to find a farmer to get the fertilized eggs.
