This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

If there’s one thing I’ve noticed about my students it’s how much they love hands-on learning.

To be able to move away from the pencil and paper and make learning fun and engaging is so valuable.

I am asking for these resources to be able to switch things up in my classroom. With the Play Doh my students can sculpt characters from stories they’re reading. The Wikki Stix let the children create any image they want and then reset and make a new one. They can also be used for literacy and word making. The bingo dabbers can not only make beautiful dot illustrations for Dot Day but also be used when doing educational games as a tool to mark off answers.
