Hands-on Learning

Help me give my students the gift of hands-on learning in an environment that supports their needs with two Base Ten Intermediate Classroom Sets and headphones.

My Project

The Math Manipulative for Counting, Number Concepts and Place Value will allow every student in my class access to visually and kinesthetically represent numbers and word problems. Adding and subtracting with numbers within 1000 is huge in our 2nd-grade core. This will greatly aid my students with the support they need to master this concept.

The Fidget Chair Bands will give my students the freedom to use their wiggles in a productive and engaging way.

This will support their focus and give them an outlet for their excess energy.

The Bulk Headphones for Classroom will swap out my student's flimsy cheap starter headphones for some that are made to last. My students often complain that their ears hurt or the ear pad has fallen off. As a new teacher, I bought some cheap ones to get me started, but these would be an investment for years to come.
