Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a self-contained special education class. My students learn best using hands-on materials which made online learning during the Covid-19 school closures difficult.

These supplies will help my students gain confidence in performing tasks with as much independence as possible.

The laminating pouches, file folders, and Velcro will be used to create individualized schedules as well as task materials related to their IEP goals. The games and Montessori tasks will help my students work on their fine motor skills. The sensory items will help my students stay centered and ready to focus on learning.
