Hands-On Learning

Help me give my students some hands-on learning experiences in science by using the magnetic solar system, the Solar System model, and books.

My Project

My students are fifth graders, and they are eager to learn science. I have students from all different backgrounds. I would love to be able to use science books like the Evan-Moor Daily Science and books about ecosystems to help them grow as readers as well as learn something new. I would also like to have the ability to use the Solar System models so that the students can have a clear picture of what we are studying.

I love to be able to help my students learn with hands-on activities, models and to help them grow as learners.

I love seeing the moments when they learn something new and that light in their eyes becomes even brighter because they have just learned that concept that I have been trying to teach them.
