My Students

Students today are wired for technology, because of this I am often trying new and creative uses of technology to reach my students. With these iPod touches I will be able to reach those students who need it the most.

I teach first grade in a Title I school in Utah.

It's a high-needs school where over 70 percent of the students live in poverty. We also receive students from a nearby homeless shelter. I choose to teach here because its where I know I can make a difference. Often I'm the only good thing in my students' day. Many of my students are also English Language Learners and because of this they need extra support and a more creative means of instruction.

My Project

My students need 4 iPod touches to help put learning into their hands. These iPods will greatly change my students lives. They will be using many different applications to help them learn to read and do math. Many of my students are below grade level and these tools will help them improve their school work. My students will greatly benefit from your donations. Thank you so much for helping to change the lives of students.

With today's economy and the many cuts there are to schools, students are getting left behind.

Please help me to put the best technology in the hands these students and many others to come.
