Hands On Learning!

Help me give my students hands on learning! A lot of these students have been at home for virtual learning most of their schooling and have missed STEM and hands on activities.

My Students

I teach at a school at a Title 1 school in Moore, OK. My students in my class is such a creative, fun, and hard working group of students with the want to learn. They have excitement for school and enjoy diving into learning. They never let the struggles they face bring them down and they always come to school excited to learn more. It makes being their teacher the most wonderful thing.

My Project

Due to Covid-19, these students have spent a lot of time at home doing virtual learning. Therefore, they have missed essential hands on learning and social interactions. These things will help students learn by getting their hands on manipulatives. In addition, it will help them work with their classmates.

Some of the students in my class have spent the entirety of their schooling behind a screen.

They haven't had the opportunity to use their hands to build and do STEM projects. Students creating is a very important part of education and learning.

In addition, students who have done virtual learning haven't had the chance to collaborate with their classmates when it comes to creating. It is crucial that students learn not only academics, but that they learn how to work together. It is a foundational skill they will use the rest of their lives.

Please help my students learn the importance of hands on learning, STEM projects, and working together.
