My Students

"Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!" -Dr. Seuss This quote embodies a day in my classroom. Every day is met with new challenges and discoveries and EVERY child can and will be successful!

They start each day full of excitement for what we are going to learn and how are they going to challenge themselves.

My classroom is a mixture of backgrounds and abilities, but we all strive to attain the same goal - GROWTH! I want to my kids to feel successful no matter their academic level and I feel at our building, this is present in every classroom, every day with every adult.

My Project

During this time of hybrid and distance learning, teachers are having to adapt and modify ways that students are learning and growing. When my students are in hybrid learning, I need to create independent bags of hands on materials for them to use during free time, inside recess and extensions.

By creating individual bags of Legos, my students can use their own creativity and imagination during these learning times.

This hands on learning can help them during writing assignments, math (multiplication, division, fractions), STEM and writing. These learning bags allows them to continue to build on their own imagination and creativity and still experience the joys that come with in person schooling.
