Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

First graders are young students who are eager to learn! They are curious and excited about the world around them. The classroom offers an excellent opportunity to teach students the skills that will help them navigate through their daily lives.

My Project

Due to the young age of First Grade students, they have not acquired much experience or background knowledge. First grade classrooms provide opportunities everyday to inspire and promote fun, interactive learning.

These fun, interactive tools are a great resource for the classroom!

The magnetic base ten blocks, number charts, and games will provide first-hand learning for the students. Instruction is only the beginning of teaching, but hands-on activities reinforce whole-group instruction.

On-level students will have access to a fun learning environment, while below-level students can learn concepts with additional resources.
