My students are super special! I walk into work every day excited about what awaits me with my class. They are so full of life and so eager to learn. While we have our every day challenges, they make me strive to be a better teacher.
I am so proud of the hard work that I have seen this year.
They continue to amaze me and are making me dread the end of the year! It has been a wonderful 2 years with these kids.
My Project
I love to get my students' input for most everything we do. I asked them for ideas for some partner time activities that would challenge them, yet be something they would be excited to do, while I pulled testing groups at the end of the day. One student suggested OSMO... and everyone else begged and begged. We used OSMO in our Learning Commons once as a special reward and they LOVED it and keep asking to go back. If we had it in our classroom, they could use it whenever!
Kids love getting their hands on any type of new technology- it just makes them want to learn!
We would need 2 more iPads as well in order for the kits to be used.
I am excited to see how they learn to code to music- I already know which students will be drawn to that game. My little mathematicians will love the challenge of the Tangrams, and of course my little creativity monsters will be all over the Creative Kit. This one especially excites me because I can't wait to see the way their minds think for some of the games that come with this kit.
