My Project
This project will help my kindergarten students with special needs learn to recognize the abc's and numbers in a fun and tactile way in order to meet their needs.
My students are not able to hold a writing tool nor sit for more than a few minutes at their desks.Theses tactile tools will allow them to work in a preferred area while they learn.
The goal is for my students to learn how to write the letters and numbers using their fingers before moving on to using a pencil and crayon. I would also love to purchase activities from Teachers Pay Teachers so I can print and laminate for my students to learn through using with play dough. These activities help strengthen their fine motor skills.
