My Project
Our kindergarten classroom is full of curious, creative, and energetic learners who are developing the foundational skills they need for future academic success. One of the most critical areas of growth at this age is fine motor development—the small muscle movements that help children write, cut, draw, and complete everyday tasks with independence. To support this growth, we are seeking donations of magnetic tiles, sensory boards, and dry erase pads. These materials will allow us to create hands-on learning stations that make building fine motor skills both fun and meaningful.
Magnetic tiles are not only a favorite among young students, but they also promote spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination, and creativity.
As children build and explore with the tiles, they naturally strengthen the muscles in their fingers and hands. Sensory boards provide calming, tactile experiences that are especially helpful for students who may struggle with attention, regulation, or transitions. These boards encourage exploration and help students stay focused during learning activities. Dry erase pads offer an inviting space for repeated writing and drawing practice without the pressure of permanence. They allow children to take risks, experiment with letter formation, and build confidence in their early writing skills.
