Help me give my students flexible seating, art and STEM supplies to create a comfortable, hands-on learning environment that supports science, engineering, math, and art projects.

My Project

My students come to school every day eager to learn, but many of them need more opportunities to learn through hands-on experiences, movement, and creative problem solving. I teach gifted and high-ability learners who thrive when they can explore, build, design, and think beyond a worksheet. With the right materials, my classroom can become a place where curiosity grows and students feel excited to take risks in their learning.

Flexible seating will help create a comfortable and welcoming environment where students can focus and do their best thinking.

Not every child learns best sitting in a hard desk all day, and having a futon and alternative seating options will give students a safe space to read, collaborate, and work on projects together.

The solar oven supplies will allow my students to participate in a hands-on STEM project where they design and build working solar ovens using pizza boxes and simple materials. This project teaches real-world science concepts like energy, heat transfer, and engineering design, while also encouraging teamwork and problem solving. Experiences like this help students see that science is not just something in a textbook... it is something they can create and understand themselves.

Art supplies, STEM materials, and 3D printing filament will give my students the tools they need to turn their ideas into real projects. Many of my students learn best when they can build, paint, design, and experiment. These materials will allow them to explore creativity while also strengthening critical thinking skills that are essential for future careers.

The fraction game will allow students to practice skills while having fun, which builds confidence and helps them develop a positive attitude toward learning.

My goal is to create a classroom where students feel comfortable, inspired, and excited to learn every day.
