Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from all over the world! In my classroom, the majority of my students are ESOL students (meaning that English is their second language). At my school, over 70% of the students receive free and/or reduced-price lunch. We are considered a Title I school.

As a kindergartner, the formal education experience is very new to most of my students.

As a Kindergarten teacher, I want to create a positive environment that will foster a love of learning for the rest of their educational career.

My Project

As an educator, I want to provide the safest classroom possible for my students. This project includes unifix cubes, counters, dice, finger lights, slinkys, magnets, and toy cars. These items will be used to create personal learning kits for each student. In kindergarten, it's very important to have a hands-on learning experience. With the materials in this project, my students will be able to have the learning experience they deserve, even during a pandemic.

All of the materials listed, will assist in creating a fun and safe classroom for my students.Thank you so much for your support!
