Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Each student in my classroom has a different story. Each student in my classroom has a different personality. However, when we come together as a classroom community, my students are lively and thoughtful learners.

My students are curious each day and are always energetic and ready to learn!

Each day they come ready to explore and find new ways to increase their knowledge. My students enjoy collaborating and working together with one another not only to help each other but to grow in the learning process.

My Project

I will be using these materials to create individual boxes for all students that will be distributed amongst my TK and Kindergarten students. For many of my students, this is going to be their first year of school, and I want to provide effective hands-on learning materials that each student would normally use and share in my classroom while at home during distance learning. All of these manipulatives like the Teddy Bear counters and the Alphabet beads will help to enhance student's learning and engagement. I want to create a fun and engaging learning environment where all of my students are eager to use these manipulatives in an engaging matter through Zoom.
