I love coming to work every day! This is my second year of half day kindergarten. My kiddos are here for 3 hours a day and man do we work while were are here!! Letters and sounds, math, reading, centers and BAM time to go!
I am adjusting to this fast paced kindergarten! I can always use a few new things to help us operate at maximum efficiency!
My Project
These materials will allow me to set up STEM centers and stations that my kids will use in centers. We ask so much of these 5 year olds and sometimes forget that it may not be so developmentally appropriate!
Training their hands to train their brains is so important!
We need STEM and other fine motor activities, pinching with tweezers, manipulating clay, using small things like perler beads or light brights, to make sure they are getting a well rounded, whole brain education. You can't learn to write if your hand doesn't have the muscle strength to hold the pencil. All of these materials help build and develop little hands to grow big brains!
