Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will bring a variety of tangible learning tools into our classroom, including sensory items, manipulatives for math and literacy, and fine motor development tools. These materials will support academic growth while also addressing my students’ sensory and motor needs.
Fidget tools, lacing activities, and sensory bins will help my students self-regulate and strengthen their fine motor skills.
These materials will also allow for more differentiated instruction. I’ll be able to tailor activities to each student’s developmental level and learning style, giving them the tools they need to thrive.
