Hands-On Learning for Early Literacy

Help me give my students books, games, and art supplies that will facilitate kinesthetic learning, and help increase learning through play.

My Project

Kindergartners come into school full of wonder. My hope is to use the games, puzzles, books, and activities in this project to help enhance that wonder and allow students to explore, manipulate, and learn the alphabet. They will be able to use their hands to help them learn how to form letters and how to manipulate letters into words. This will help them unlock their literacy journeys and become confident early readers.

Learning through play has been proven to be more impactful, faster, and longer lasting, especially for young scholars.

The materials in this project will allow students to have fun and smile while they learn early literacy skills they will need for the rest of their lives.
