My Project

My students are inspiring. They are hungry for learning and get so excited when they finally understand a concept that has challenged them. My student's parents want to help them reach their goals!

So many families have asked for ways to help their students at home.

Parents are confused by the 4th-grade standards since they are so different from when they were in school. Our goal is to teach parents the strategies their students will be using in school and send them home with the tools they need to help their child at home.

We plan on holding "Toolkit" nights where we provide parents with a toolkit of manipulatives and teach them how to use these manipulatives at home with their child. We carefully selected manipulatives that will help with a variety of 4th-grade standards.
