My Students
I have a enthusiastic group of 25 students who are curious and excited to learn! My students are a diverse group of young learners who have proven to me to be responsible and respectful despite the hardships of remote learning.
My Project
Due to COVID-19, we are starting the school year out remotely. I would like to provide equitable access for all my students by providing a kit of materials that they will use to learn at home. I know that these hands-on learning opportunities will benefit my young learners and make learning at home fun and engaging. Using these tools will help my students practice important skills while they limit screen time. My students will use whiteboards to show their thinking, practice letter formation and practice writing. The use of counters, unifix cubes, and dice will allow students to model math in a concrete way in order to enhance their understanding of concepts and skills.
