In August I will be getting a new bunch of anxious and excited Kindergartenrs who are ready learn. Part of their learning involves play. I would like to create a classroom where students were able to use hands-on learning to inspire inventors, thinkers, and innovators.
The Kindergarten experience sets the tone for students future academic career.
I would love for this school year to be a positive learning experience for all students in my room. Kindergartners want and need safe and fun place to learn.
My Project
My Kindergartners will be able to have a variety of quality hands on materials that will allow them to use their imagination and creativity. With your support I will be able to purchase magnetic building tiles, house building engineering center, create a path magnetic maze,Lincoln Logs, blocks and gears. These items will be used during our daily STEM time.
These materials will be engaging and developmentally appropriate for all Kindergarteners who enter my classroom.
This will give them time to build on their social skills as they work together with their peers.
Science, technology, engineering, and math are important skills for kids. These materials will provide opportunities for 5-6 years olds to explore using relevant and personal experiences at their developmental level. Kindergarten is a perfect time of exploration and learning about the world they live in.
