My Project

Our young learners love to use their hands to explore and learn. During outside time, our students enjoy exploring the outside world. We want to bring that love of sensory learning to the inside of our classroom so our students can engage in sensory learning. We will use these items to build upon our learning experiences by providing students with different materials for each season. For example, the students will get to explore through water play in summer where they will learn about volume, and density. In the fall, our students will use the sensory table to learn and explore the different signs of fall. In the winter, the students will get to explore snow and ice and in spring the students will use the sensory table to learn about gardens and how things grow. I plan to use these items to expand learning and create a learning environment that is focused on what students are interested in.
