I am a proud special education teacher to a class of kindergarten, first and second grade students.
My students have a variety of exceptionalities including autism, developmental delays, and learning deficits.
My greatest challenge is meeting the learning needs of my students.
They benefit working with hands-on, engaging activities that are not included in our school curriculum resources. For this reason, I am in needs of such items in my classroom. Due to their exceptionalities, my students need alternate ways to accessing the curriculum. I will utilize these materials in small group learning centers which will also promote social skills.
