Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are very motivated by hands on activities. My students work very hard each day but many of them need something to keep their minds occupied in downtimes. I think they would benefit from completing more labs to enrich their prior knowledge.

My Project

These materials will make a huge difference in my students' learning by providing hands-on learning with various concepts, including magnets, science experiments, life cycles, plants, and bugs/insects. We will use the resources to complete a variety of labs and STEM activities. This will help my students to develop the hands on part of an activity. This will give them a better understanding of the concepts that they have been previously learning about. I think that this will also serve as an enrichment activity for my classroom. My students love hands on activities.
