Hands On II-Play and Learn

Help me give my students more hands-on activities, especially like the Crystal Growning Kit and Stem related activities such as the Roller Coaster and Lego Gear Bots Science/STEM kits.

My Project

Hands On II, Play and Learn, will increase our Workshop Time Activities. Students look forward to Workshop May Do Activities and are truly motivated to complete class work.

Building structures, playing math games, and challenging the mind are reasons for selecting these particular activities.

Students will have fun, and simultaneously reenforce grade level math contents as they play games from the Bingo Math Library, Fraction & Decimal Folder game Libraries, Area and Perimeter Kit. How focused and creative students will be as they build structures with Gear Bots, Building Bricks (Stem Challenge Kit) and Roller Coaster Engineering kit. Imagine the awe as they watch crystals form and grow and how this activity will facilitate teaching them about crystals and the earth.

My students' parents may not be able to spend a lot of money on resources like these, but I know their students will appreciate the opportunity to use them. I plan for them to share their experiences with their parents and friends. Students have already been excited about the few resources we have for workshop. This project will give them more resources and more interesting content.
