This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a Health teacher at a low income school in Reno, Nevada. Coming into my first year of teaching, I have learned that students learn better with visuals and hands on experiences. I would like to provide a classroom that is enriching to my students.
I would like to include supplies such as feminine products and snacks to support my students beyond their learning career and focus on their personal growth.
I enjoy project based learning and will plan to use it in my classroom coming this fall. Thanks!
