I teach kids that have Emotional and Behavioral disabilities. They are an amazing group of middle school students that have had it rough in life and need a little extra support.
My students deserve to be the same as others.
It is bad enough that they are singled out in a separate class, but unfortunately they also do not get the same funding as the general education classes. They lack the necessary supplies to obtain the education they deserve. Thank you for your support.
My Project
By obtaining gardening supplies such as gloves and watering cans, my students will have the satisfaction on knowing how to grow their own food for their life sustainability.
My students will the ability to give the vegetables to those less fortunate.
The students will not only feel good by feeding others, but they will be able to cook them and expand their food horizons.
We will study cross pollination and how the vegetable plants germinate to produce the vegetables. By being hands-on, they will be more likely to try the new vegetables and feel the pleasure of helping those in need of food the most. Thank you for your donation.
