My Project

My students spend a lot of time with a hand held electronic device. Remotes for TV's, controllers for console video games, keyboard and mouse for computer games, phones, etc. I am going to create a game design class. These students will play non-virtual games. Real hand held games.

The class will start with the students playing games like go fish, or connect 4, then they will make a modification to the game.

The goal for the semester is after playing a variety of games, they will be able to create their own game, with a story line actual pieces, colorful cards or boards. Something that could possibly be submitted to Mattel.
