My Students
My first grade students are inquisitive, fun and interested in the world around them. They love to explore, build and create new adventures together. They zoom around the room pretending to fly to the moon or go on a deep sea dive to see a monster together.
They are the cutest group of kids!
My Project
Playing is a vital part of learning for my darling first graders. In kindergarten playtime is built into the schedule. Many concepts abstract concepts are made concrete through hands on experiences. I will use the flexible seating to create stations where the kids can play grocery store, practice counting and adding, build three dimensional shapes and solve puzzles. They will also be able to use the skills they have learned about telling time by manipulating the hands on the Telling Time teaching clock.
Being able to use their imaginations to create fun scenarios with peers helps make school fun.
By donating to this project, you will provide hands-on activities for the kids to do during skill based instruction and indoor recess. They will be able to use these items for collaborative play and learning.
