By providing my students the opportunity to listen to books on CD they will improve their listen comprehension skills. Becoming better at processing the information they are being given will make them better communicators as well. This Listening Center will provide a great source of entertainment for the students as well. I can already see them getting caught up in a great story while the earphones provide a shelter from the busy classroom environment. The books will captivate, entertain and teach the class all at the same time. I am excited to use the stories as prompts for writing projects!
