Help me give my students a variety of Earth Day activities. All students from K-6 should do something to help our earth, from building a birdhouse, to spreading grass seed bombs, or planting a bean plant.
I love Earth Day, and I've never understood making paintings of Earth or doing an Earth Day coloring sheet that will go in the trash can at the end of the day. I want to provide my students with hands-opportunities to learn about how they can help our environment in a fun and easy way, and have a hands-on activity to go with it!
My K-6 students will be doing a variety of hands-on Earth Day activities to become better environmental stewards of the land.
In order to do this we'll need materials such as paper pots, soil, and seeds to plant beans, grass seeds to make seed bombs, and birdhouse kits so they can help our plants and animals not only survive, but thrive!
