This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Biology is difficult for those who have a hard time conceptualizing microscopic processes. These kits will help my students to visualize what is happening during DNA replication and protein synthesis.

Hands-on manipulatives help students have a greater understanding of microscopic principles that usually are only drawn on the whiteboard or shown to them in slides.

Anything that can help me get to the big "ah ha" moment with my students is worth doing. These kits will have a big impact on the classroom and on how I teach these concepts.
