My Project

My young students crave hands-on learning! Having a classroom filled with magnetic building blocks, snap together builders, Geomakers, and interlocking discs will provide my students with tools to boost their critical thinking, interpersonal skills, and creativity all through play. These resources will be used to enhance a learning center in our classroom where students can build and experiment while fostering a love of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

These tools will help educate them more subtly, so they really feel like they are getting a break from pencil and paper activities while they learn.

A classroom with STEM resources will help me create hands-on lessons tailored to our curriculum while also providing an area for students to free play after completing rigorous assignments.
