This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Puff paint, epoxy, and food coloring are part of a hands-on, creative lesson that I have students use to build models to understand concepts covered in science. We build models to visualize complex concepts covered in science, including the different parts of the cell, the structure and function of living, different parts of the body systems, and DNA.

By having students engaged in creative hands-on learning, it not only boosts their level of participation but also helps in retaining information better through interactive work.

This is why I am requesting Fabric Paint Sets, Food Coloring, and Mica Powder, so my students can feel good when they can connect to what they are learning while having fun at the same time.
