My Project

I have been teaching Early Childhood Special Education Autism classes for the past 4 years. I started at a new school at the start of the 2023-2024 school year and we are in need of some fresh new resources as what we currently have access to is very limited.

My goal is to help reduce the amount of screen time utilized in the classroom and work to provide an interactive and more hands on experience for them that will still keep their attention.

The whiteboard will be utilized for our calendar time and our interactive nursery rhyme story time. We'll also use it to help teach letters and numbers, shapes, anything you can think of!

My students are unique and have their own strengths. The use of the white board will not only enhance their learning experience, but will also reinforce waiting their turns.
