My students need these items to help them learn the standards for Kindergarten and so they can be prepared for 1st grade. These materials will ensure that my students are getting what they need.
I teach in a small rural town and my new group of kindergarten students will be excited and ready to learn at the beginning of the next school year.
We do not always have the funds needs for the more entertaining manipulates and games to use in the classroom.

My Project
These materials will help my students learn the information they need to be successful students. I will be able to use the materials in whole group, small group, at centers, and for students who may need extra help in some areas.
I have taught only Reading for the last few years and am in need of these math materials to better assist my students on a daily basis, now that I will be teaching more subjects.
Being able to have math centers to build on to what I am teaching will give students the time to use/show the standards that they are learning.
