My Project
Many of my students are well below grade-level, but they truly want to learn. I see the joy and excitement when we engage in more hands-on activities, rather than "sit and get" activities where they have to listen to a lot of words they don't always understand as novice Multilingual Learners.
I am looking to create and enhance an environment within my classroom where the students are activitely engaged in center activities, and a Teacher pay Teachers set of gift cards would allow me to provide interesting, colorful, and engaging materials to my students during this learning time.
Far from being just boring worksheets, the center activities are aesthetically pleasing and draw the students' attention immediately as they are able to manipulate the various activities. I will print the copies on my own computer, which is why I am also requesting colorful paper and ink as well. Please consider supporting this endeavor in order to help me foster for my students a love of learning. Learning can be rigorous and fun at the same time, and it is my goal to make school and learning an exciting process for my little learners. Thank you for your consideration.
