Hands on Can Never Be Enough

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are a highly energetic group with a love and zeal for reading. They always tend to demonstrate a positive attitude despite lacking certain necessary resources, that would be beneficial to them. Every child can learn and every child must; is my favorite quote and they have been living by this as well. Despite the situation they truly try to rise to be good students, with a drive and determination for learning. They have a light in then that needs to continue to glow and I want to use this opportunity to help them shine.

My Project

The materials chosen will be great for my students, as they do not get or have the opportunity to use tangible materials. This will be great for them as they have an explorative and creative mind, but it is not fully utilized. This will enable them to "zoom into" their creative ability, and create things that they thought were impossible by using their hands and mind. In addition, it will help them to become better explorers, as well as more vivid learners with a creative mind. Having a creative mind is the way to go.
