My Project
Students at my school have been greatly impacted by Covid, they are now having to dig deep and and learn at a faster pace in order to catch up. Art gives them a chance to be a kid while learning, even though we talk about art history and art techniques. Students are also l working on fine motor skills, practicing art techniques, and connecting with her peers in a positive way and nurturing environment while working together on projects and building confidence by showcasing their works. I will be using the supplies in this project to introduce them to architecture in a fun way they will remember. They will be using the LEGO and blocks to create building and cities, they will be using molding clay and play dough to create habitats and learn pattern and rhythm with stamps. I am also excited that with hands-on art we can incorporate social emotional learning and support how to process our feelings and an alternative healthy ways.
