Hands-On Animal Habitats

Help me give the students in my PreK and Kindergarten classes the tools (animal figures, readers, etc.) to explore animal habitats.

My Project

During our life science unit, my PreK and Kindergarten students need the tools to have a hands-on learning experience for animal habitats. In my STEAM classroom I have 100 students in my Kindergarten and PreK classes. I am a firm believe that students needs the opportunity to have hands-on, interactive learning activities. These tools (animal figures, readers, etc.) would provide that for my little 4 and 5 year old students.

Play is very important for children as it improves their cognitive, physical, social, and emotional learning.

Through play, my students will learn about animals and the habitats they live in.
