This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students enjoy manipulatives and learn best through hands-on materials and play! All of my students have different interests and abilities, they all communicate differently, learn differently; however they all enjoy hands on materials!
Kinesthetic learning encourages communication and the development of social skills.
Adding more manipulatives to our small group rotation will maximize engagement and minimize behaviors in the classroom. My students will also work on sharing, waiting their turn, math, and literacy, all with these hands-on materials!
My students are so amazing, they deserve every learning opportunity they can get.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
