This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious young scientists who thrive on hands-on learning experiences. They come to class every day with a thirst for knowledge and a desire to understand how the world works, especially the intricate wonders of the human body and biology.

This project aims to provide our classroom with dissecting kits and frog specimens to enhance their understanding of anatomy and physiology.

These resources will allow students to move beyond textbooks and digital simulations, giving them a tangible and interactive experience that fosters curiosity and critical thinking.

The dissection kits and specimens will give my students the opportunity to explore the internal structures of organisms, helping them understand the relationships between form and function. By engaging in this hands-on activity, they will develop important skills such as attention to detail, collaboration, and scientific observation. These are foundational skills for any career in STEM fields.

My goal is to inspire my students to appreciate the complexities of living organisms while nurturing a love for science that could guide them toward future careers in healthcare, biology, or engineering. Many of them dream of making a difference in the world, and these tools can help spark a lifelong passion for science and learning.

What makes my students special is their enthusiasm and perseverance. Despite challenges, they are eager to learn and embrace opportunities to engage with new concepts. Your generous support can make their scientific dreams a reality, providing them with an unforgettable learning experience and the foundation for their future success.
