This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
An important part of being in Kindergarten is for students to explore their world through touch. What better way to learn the alphabet than through hands-on fun?
These exciting manipulatives like the alphabet tub, learning locks, and alphabet bots will enable my students to learn the alphabet in a different and engaging way.
The alphabet manipulatives will also help my students work on important social skills, such as taking turns and sharing, as well as fine motor development. We will be using these new activities during our morning routine, as a center and as a choice during Fun Friday.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
