This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love hands-on projects. This color printer will help all my students, but especially my visual learners to improve their memorization by having access to assignments and resources in color. Late studies suggest that colorful images and color in general help the memorization process and learning. In a world of smartphones, iPads, videogames, black and white assignments and resources, can only have a small chance of holding students' attention. Other studies have shown that reading in color may improve readership a 40 percent. Also, students show better results when tests and assignments are presented in color. The benefits are too many to ignore. I hope my students have the chance to access all the mentioned benefits and are able to better their leaning in general.
