Hands On Activities Needed For Third Graders!

My students need cooperative learning games to practice problem solving. They need timers to keep them on task and centers to practice math facts.

My Students

My students are very dynamic and creative. They often struggle working through problems without arguing, crying, pouting, or just giving up. We do a lot of role playing and we read a lot of books about team work. We really would love to add some games and activities as well!

My students are very dramatic, very funny, very motivated, and very creative.

They love learning and are hoping to have more centers, games, and hands on learning activities to add to our collection. The majority of our student's are on free or reduced lunch. Today I had a student ask if he could take home some old games I was going to throw out because they had pieces missing. He said he didn't have any games at home. That broke my heart. This class is deserving of some new games and learning resources and would use them every single day!

My Project

My students will use the materials to practice working as a team. Many of my students need extra help with working through problems without getting upset or giving up. These materials will give them more opportunities to become independent thinkers and will make them feel proud of themselves!

If this project gets funded my students will have more opportunities to work collaboratively and improve their social skills, math facts, and understanding of science.

I know they will be so excited and it will make each of them feel very special.
