My Project
In my STEAM lab, I have 3D design materials that work well with my oldest students but I would like the ability to give the same chances to my youngest students.
Students from Kindergarten to 3rd grade will be using these pens and for many of them, it will be their first experience with 3D design.
Engineering is for everyone but these pens can help me bring experiences to students in low-income areas that could lead them into amazing careers later in life.
Often when people think of building on to existing skills they think of math and ELA but imagine if we allowed students to do the same with 3D design. By 8th grade they would be designing, building, and printing inventions that haven't even occurred to me or you!
