Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Tissues and hand sanitizer are vital for maintaining hygiene and preventing the spread of illnesses especially for our elementary students who are in a crowded classroom where germs spread quickly. Tissues allow students to cover coughs and sneezes and reduce the chance of airborne illness from spreading. Hand sanitizer helps eliminate germs on hands, especially when soap and water are not readily available.
Encouraging students to use tissues and hand sanitizer regularly instills hygienic practices they'll carry beyond the classroom!
By starting early, children are more likely to carry these habits into adulthood because they become second nature. These items contribute significantly to creating a healthy and welcome environment for our students.
